1. Micron Rating – Depth vs. Surface Filtration

ENORME™ PP and PE bags use depth filtration, where particles are captured throughout the thickness of the media. This provides high dirt-holding capacity and longer service life.
Typical micron ratings: 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 µm

ENORME™ Nylon  bags use surface filtration, where particles are retained on the surface of the mesh. This allows for easy cleaning and reuse, making them ideal for applications requiring frequent change-outs or wash ability.

2. Chemical Compatibility – Match Media to Your Process Fluid

Selecting the right material ensures durability and performance:

• Polypropylene (PP): Resistant to acids, alkalis, and most aqueous solutions. Ideal for general chemical processing and water treatment.
• Polyester (PE): Suitable for hot solvents and mildly acidic environments. Commonly used in inks, paints, resins, and elevated-temperature applications.

3. Operating Temperature – PP Collar vs. SS Ring

Temperature plays a key role in filter bag selection:

• Polypropylene Collar: Rated up to 80°C
• Stainless Steel (SS 316) Ring: Rated up to 130°C

For processes operating between 80°C and 130°C, use PE or Nylon bags with an SS 316 ring.

ENORME™ UPVC multi-filter cartridge housings are corrosion-resistant, cost-effective filtration units used for high-volume, multi-cartridge applications, typically holding 3 to 9+ cartridges. Made from durable, lightweight  U PVC, they excel  RO pretreatment,High flow filtrations and chemical processes. They offer high-precision filtration and are  designed for lower pressure, high-corrosion environments compared to stainless steel alternatives.
